Foreword

Well, this is my 365 Blog. I want to give you a warning.

1) I may not update the day I take the photograph. I'm slow sometimes. And this will not be a self portrait blog, sorry :)

2) This may be a 355, 345, or a plain 35 blog, rather than a 365. I will do my best, lol

3) I feel like three is a good number, and wanted to add it to the list. There is no three

Another late post, but here it is

Sorry for yet another late post.  Seems I always remember at unfortunatly late times, lol.

But here it is

First, the old standby, an eye portrait.  Was hoping to prove that it was easier, now that my macro lens will AF with my D200.  How wrong I was.  Stupid thing would focus on everthing BUT my eye, was easier to mf and guess, lol

Eye (8 of 8)

My next picture is unfortunately on my card, and I’m pushing the lateness timing as it is, so I’ll post it later.

And today’s picture(s)

Went shooting in my backyard.  Was nice on some shots to be able to AF, other times, it was easier to MF, like when dof was so shallow wide open (which is how a lens focus’) that if it locks on to slightly the wrong thing, it’s oof.

I did not have the oportunity to PP the first one, so it’s got some funky green cast I think (still deciding on that)

Backyard (13 of 17) Backyard (9 of 17)

Have I mentioned I LOVE my D200 and Tamron 90mm?  Probably haven’t said it enough!

I love the 1st flower shot!! I too have noticed that manual focus definitely has it's purpose! It's funny that both of us have the luxury of AF at around the same time!
